Directx 12 error unfixable. please help

ive tried literally everything to fix this, everytime i try to load the game i get an error that says "no suitable 3d graphics adapter is available, please check that you have a Directx 12 compatible grahpics card with suitable drivers installed." i have a NVIDIA GTX 1650 which is supposedly compatible with Directx 12 and i have every driver possible. i was playing the game perfectly fdine until the latest windows update, then it suddenly just doesnt want to work anymore? does anyone know how to fix this??

First try another game that uses Dx12 to see if the problem is related to Planco2 or your graphics card driver. If you have problems with other games reinstall the driver. if it's only with Planco2 reinstall the game. Hope this helps

its just planet coaster 2, ive tried multiple directx 12 and they run and play perfectly fine. ive tried uninstalling and reinstalling planco2 multiple times it just doesnt help at all

This just happened to me as well. I was playing just fine, saved game and ended. I had a Nvidia update so did that and now getting the same error. Playing on Alienware Laptop

FIXED! I turned my desktop Windows display down to 1080, started the game just fine. Backed out and set display back to normal and game is running just fine.

It does seem the game is having issues with the way it reads certain graphics solutions in order to configure itself. I do wonder if the real fix is to move the graphics config file...

Many laptops have dual video systems. Typically an Intel and a secondary Nvidia or AMD chipset. Not all of them switch between the two without being told to do so. Intel video subsystems are (politely) very subpar and are simply utilitarian at best. So sometime one gets stuck on the intel trying to game because it didn't switch to the more game focused video system.

FIXED!!!! all i had to do was turn my display from 60hz to 50hz and it worked like a charm!
