i feel like the staff are bugged.

i have 20 mechanics and 10 rides but my rides constantly need repair. i have 15 janitors but somehow none of the 3 bathrooms ever get cleaned. i have 2 times as many ride operators as rides but the rides are constantly waiting on staff. i have no idea how to assign workers to the zones i have made and there appears to be no way to assign mechanics or janitors directly to rides or bathrooms.

Exact same problem bud. I've just started a new discussion with this:-

"Can you please fix mechanics not fixing broken rides. The game claims i have no free mechanics yet i drop 2 or 3 right by the broken down ride and i still cannot get it fixed nor can i initiate an emergency call out so i'm literally stuck which is very frustrating."

It's the same for me too.
It frustrates me a lot, the campaign is really fun, but everything keeps breaking down, I already have 30 mechanics in there and they still can't maintain 4x electricity and 4x rides.
I've already made plans and connected them directly to the device and built breaks into the plan, no chance, they just don't do anything automatically ;(

I would prefer to just turn off maintenance

You can assign mechanics to specific rides, it works better, but then they are looking for work sometimes. You can use zones and it seems better to me, but need to plan carefully. So you can reduce the pain but yes its very buggy or to say at least not very intuitive.

I think they are broken. I literally have mechanics chilling over where the generators are and still get notifications about service tags expiring and then the endless notifications about things not having power.

Thank you ^^ that doesn't help me in the campaign, but it's good to know that it works in the sandbox, maybe I'll leave the campaign for now, that drives me crazy

I don't get why we can't schedule rides to be checked every 30/60/90/120 minutes or whatever to guarantee a service check as opposed to what seems to be do nothing until the service ticket expires and then maybe service it or let it just break

Hey staff, don't do anything until you have specifically been told to by me.

Cleaners, do you see that filthy toilet over there, don't touch it until I tell you too. Oh you didn't notice the filthy toilet, the one your standing next too. You were probably distracted by the vomit you walked in to get past. Just as well I am micro managing every moment of your day then huh.

Mechanics, don't worry about servicing the rides, it's not like your paid to or anything, right? Oh you didn't notice the ride your standing next to needs servicing. Just as well I am micro managing your every moment.

Vendors and Ride operators, how about instead of walking around looking for work, how about you take over that empty ride/shop. Yeah that one, the one your standing next to. Just as well I am here to micro manage your every moment.

Lets check out what the staff are doing in the staff screen CLICKITY CLICKITY CLICK CLICK CLICK CLICK CLICK. Makes micro managing your staff even more tedious.
