Link frontier account to game

I have an frontier account with mail-adress. How do I connect the frontier.co.uk-account to the account of the game?

Well, my Steam-Account was (from Elite) already linked to Steam. When I went to the Workshop for the first time, it just asked for a Nickname and that was it overall. And yes, it's connected to my existing account, cos was able to sub to a workshop blueprint over the website and had it ingame, also my twitch drops worked.
Unfortunately I can't really help you, when your Steam-account isn't yet linked to your Frontier Account..
