About the UI, I don't think consoles are to blame, they are just as unlucky with this UI, than we are. While I hope that frontier will fix that eventually, I think this will take some time though.
*Either get the game back on the steam workshop or get rid of the absurd 1GB workshop limit of what you can download at a time. -> Already done.
If you read their hotfix #1 post: The guest cap is going to be changed for PC players for sandbox mode in the near future, the workshop cap is now 4GB starting tommorow, and will be changed also in the future.
Currently also refunded. Will come back when they change it.
And no, I don't blame console players, I blame Frontier.
