For misbuilding you could use the delete key or even m or X to replace/move the asset.
For paths just use 'undo' out of all tools, the bulldozing tool is the tool i rarely use
As you can read from others, it's not just one click, plus going back to where you left. All good builder games have a good short cut to bulldozing without leaving the menu where you are busy in.
Exactly this, thank you.
no little corporate slop defender.
it is the fact that you have to navigate trough a thousand menu's to get to what you want.
whilst in planco1 and planet zoo, everything you need is there. when you need it.
planco2 has a good UI, for consoles. where you can quickly swap trough menu layers using the D-pad or the L1 and R1 bumpers or buttons, or the triggers on the controller.
its a not so good UI for Windows Users. we do not have buttons to quickly swap trough menu layers and have to do that with the mouse.
also no click and drag for the multiselect tool.
have fun when you need to select 100 induvidual plants when you decide you want to shift them 10 meters to the left.
I'm not defending anything. It's on a pc. You're expected to use a mouse (unless you're using a controller too which a lot of people do even through the steam UI, it doesnt have to be a console). Its a unified release.
If anything since it's on PC as well there's a way to modify the behavior. People are blowing it up more than it seems. I can't predict what changes they'll make, but there's ways to change bindings, that I haven't had to look into, but here's hoping they make shortcuts easier.
And I'm someone who doesn't mind going through menu after menus when games don't explain much of anything. It happens.
There actually is a click and drag for the multi select tool, i used it earlier in PC2 to move two plants.
