Paths are a struggle
Anyone else finding getting used to the new path system a problem. I can create tight corners easily and the paths like attaching themselves to nearby ones for no reason when you try to create two paths near each other. Any advice, or anyone want to add until the developers see this if it is not just me.

Sometimes the road network just breaks down without any reason. I have the situation, that I cannot delete an unusable piece of path... it says "terrain is in the way". Great... and now half of the park is stuck behind it.
I think the new pathing tool is way to prone to mess up its path mesh on convulted areas

I'm starting to get used to it now. The old style Planet Coaster 1 classic path mode is more useful then you think.

I can't figure out how to make elevated paths and I've been fighting with "intersecting terrain".

Paths are damned near impossible. I'm getting so frustrated that I regret buying this game.

I’m actually loving the path in this system compared to planet coaster one, and planet zoo. This is so much better at least for me. I find myself normally using the stamp tool to create the grid where I want, and then I use that draw wine tool to fill in the blank spaces or make connections that don’t match the grid

I'm having this issue as well. I'm on Just the Thicket and i literally can not build anywhere because i can't make paths to certain areas. All it says is intersecting terrain. I've tried raising the path with shift and nothing works, and i don't know what else to do to fix it.

Yes they are bad. Planet Coaster 1 paths were better.

I like the new paths but the tools need to be simplified. As is they are a bit too finicky.

They were a lot easier to build and replace, But lacked the ability to easily create open areas. SOMEHOW the new path system flips this. Easy to build open areas but the paths argue with you every step of the way.

I actually like the new path tool better than the one from PC1 or PZ and the path section from Rudi Rennkamel's new All-in-one turtorial video helped me a whole lot to understand it better.

They did not remove the old way did they? If you like the old way better, just click on "Classic Paths" instead of Line Builder, Stamp Tool, Draw Tool.

I would think "Classic" means it works like in the old game.

I have not tried it as I hated the old way, and love the new Stamp and Draw Tools. So much easier I think.

No, it was for sure not fine! You needed tricks and much time to achieve some things you can now do without problems in minutes. Click on my YT link above, he explains it pretty good imho!

They've taken a little getting used to, but 15 24 hours in, I find the new path tools are so much more elegant and fast. I can put a oooooooooooooooooooooong section of path down in the time it took me just to open the tool in PC1
