make sure you are not under 'blueprints' option and are under 'custom" option

because technically you cannot have a blueprint for a bench

When you are laying paths you can also include path extras, it's in the path menu (one of the top options which will automatically put them in when laying paths otherwise you can do it manually from Scenery. I admit the scenery selector is not intuitive, and I was also like wth is everything until I pressed 'Custom' at the far right. Playing in Ultrawide with that UI is not that great.

Go to Scenery and look for path extras.

It took me 20 mins to find it.

The UI is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ Horrendous. I just rage quit to cool down because of it.
