BTW, its always nice to see, gamers complaining about crashes or other tech issues and not telling anything about their hardware.... How do you expect to get help?
intel core I9 processor
Nvidia RTX 4090
32GB ram
With an RTX 4090 he will have either a 16 or 32GB ram as standard which both meet recommended requirements.
And the power required to run such a powerful graphics card would require a substantial enough processor to run it, which in turn will be high enough to run this game.
These requirements are also way above the minimum specs required so it should be no issue whatsoever to operate this game on some level.
And resolution specs of a monitor makes no operational difference to the specs of the game other than showing an image in a certain resolution or frame rate.
So you can't comment on peoples knowledge when you have none yourself.
WINDOWS DEFENDER was blocking the application from running, I have given WINDOWS DEFENDER authorisation to allow the blocked programme and it has loaded the game with no problem.
As for hardware specs, on entering a map on the highest graphical settings and 2000 peeps in the park, I am running 60 FPS with 100 refresh rate with no issues of stuttering.
Interesting! The monitors resolution together with your hardware does have an effect, if the game loads and the set resolution just outperforms your hardware - the game can crash! But yes, teach me more about tech, you also seem to have a lot of knowledge!
Just in case you didnt know that either - resolution has impact on the workload of your graphics card, CPU and RAM - which all of them, depends on the amount of workload can cause a crash.
Truthfully those specs are well above par. And before the most recent update my game ran flawlessly in regard to performance. In this case it is frontier that need to fix the problem.
I have a 13th gen i7 13700k with a RTX 4070 Ti Super 32gb RAM 4tb m.2 drive.
It was running without crashes before the latest update
Just tried but unfortunately doesn't work.
Don't think it has to do with that either, since many menus in the game are also broken after the update.
For example, I cannot select a path, move an object or see anything at all in the settings, the latter remains a blank tab.
So many errors in UI
