In terms of game mechanics, is it also possible to build a pure water park? I mean, sure, but can you earn enough to keep it going? Or are you forced to combine both types of theme parks to really have one running park? I would like to focus purely on the swimming pool part of the game. At least at the beginning.

I think I'll risk the purchase to find out ^^ But it would be a shame if you were basically forced to combine in order to make a profit.
