6K Guest Limit
Is this actually a thing? I watched a video, and apparently you can't have more than 6,000 guest in your park. Hopefully, this is not true. :( I'm so tired of developers creating PC games along side with console, and placing console limitations on PC.

its true theres a limit but this is temporary, they will study player hardware and may raise it accordingly

Yes, it is a thing, and yes, they are aware that the fans are unhappy with it. Still, they seem to want to investigate how well the game will run on release and have some information what kind of PC fans are playing on. They are mostly still testing no limit internally and they said they wished to monitor how everything went before making any decision like completely removing the limit or adding the optional guest limit slider like in the first Planet Coaster. It had me worried about how well the game ran, but since they haven't closed the door to removing the limit, I am optimistic it will be updated in the next few weeks.

They never mentioned they will increase or lift it, they only said they will analyse and evaluate.
So yes, it's true without any official confirmation it will change.

my gut feeling is post launch. maybe the first pass for bug fixes ect that option will appear. but we will see. it seems to be a big deal to many.
I fully expect that once that option is in we will start seeing threads all over the place complaining about performance problems. with people barely having minimum specs trying to run the game like they have a flag ship computer specs

4k guests was the limit for my park in PC1. Then FPS started dropping below 60. At 6k it started to drop below 40 fps. I'm not so sure if this is a coincidence, but I feel like they maybe optimized stuff, but found out that 6k kills you fps again to below 60, so thats the limit now.
this can be solved simply by putting a tab in options to disable this function.I just got a new system with RTX 4070 super and I-7 14700 cpu with 32 gig of ram and 2 TB-SSD drive.i think it can handle 100000 guests to my park.

i bet it would be a slide show with that amount of peeps being simulated.

Wouldn't be so sure yet. Yes, you're pc probably could handle more than those 6k, but 100k is a pretty far stretch. I mean, they don't put a limit in out of fun and they also know why they've chosen this limit for now. But anyway, I'm sure they will adjust the limit in time, for PC at least.

Wait until you hit the cap if the performance is still great then complain to Frontier and they will prob update it.

indeed ive seen some people asking for almost life like park vistor numbers wise. no chance.

I wonder if they will get data auto sent to them from each PC and console so they see typical performance at 6000 visitors.

relax guys let a chance to devs

6k is chump numbers, that's why. I've got 9k guests in Planet Zoo rn with over 500 animals, my system is running it fine. Frontier needs to let PC players set their own limit, not impose a low one on everyone.
