Lazy rivers?
...I haven't seen any proper lazy rivers in any footage. Does anyone know if they will be in the game?

Would be sick if you could customize and build a lazy river, with plants and decorations around the edges, etc. Then ride it in a floatie in first person and turn off all HUD elements.
I'd use that as a screen saver, tbh and it'd be absolutely amazing.

You can! But they don't function properly rn. And if you just go to 'Lazy Rivers' you won't see any bc there are no blueprints for them. You have to build a custom 'pool' like a path, but change the pool settings that pop up to make it a lazy river

Yes lazy rivers will be in the game don't believe me take a look at this little screenshot proof.
YT link click me

As for decorating around it seems possible just like in PC1 we could put stuff on the path spite the guest walking through it without the fencing that stops the AI from walking into spots you don't want, so i don't see why we will not be able to do that. But i guess we would really have to see.

And in the livestream today we got to see some more water park stuff like a wave pool in the backdrop of the livestream they didn't talk about :bbtraccoon: it be fun if we can make the wave pool go really crazy like some YT videos I've seen.

Thank you! That's great news and I'm really looking forward to that :D I'm completely new to the Planet Coaster/Zoo games, so I don't know many of the features. But it would be cool if you could remove the HUD elements and ride the lazy river in first person/camera mode

I can't get them to work.

I haven't tried it, but the lazy river, in theory it is with the pools tool and make a style pool like a park path, simply build the elongated pool like a circuit, and then in accessories you have the "motors" so that they supposedly create the current of water that pushes the visitors, but I already said that I have not tried it yet.

Won't work for me, even after I put in the lazy pool jets. People just stand around at both ends. Also, there are no floaties or anything else, so they sort of walk around instead of float. Kinda stupid TBH.
The author of this thread has indicated that this post answers the original topic.

What I want is if you end a slide in a lazy river that the guest will stay on the floatie and float using the lazy river, not that it disappears as now.
I remember when I was in a Dubai water park, there you could take the inflatable ring and you could ride with it almost any tube ride that was connected to the central river without standing up.

Oooh, that is definitely something that should be added! :)

There is a youtuber called Geekism who has created a lazy river pretty successfully. Way beyond beginner level but might give you some hints and ideas.
