I think they didn't need to drag the Tribes IP through the mud, they could have just made this no Tribes IP required. Everyone would have been better off for it.

It looks like Prophecy took every bad decision Hi-Rez made games support wise and amplified them to degrees I never thought I'd see. With an already bad reputation following them from their Hi-Rez days combined with what they've done with StarSiege and now Tribes 3, I don't see them lasting more than five years as a developer.

But we can not throw the baby out with the bathwater. I know there is some grieves but Prophecy brought back Tribes, let's be really fair. How do you think someone would be motivated to try to solve the things for you (when you can't) if you're bashing and judging his efforts while he's trying. Switching out to something else ? That's what I'm afraid of..
