Hi-Rez studios, I mean Prophecy Games, is pulling a cash grab move on the Tribes community yet again. Earlier in the discord the Founder of Prophecy was quoted as saying he had little faith the Tribes 3 given the playerbase unless people purchased DLC, then almost immediately left the Discord server. Given Erez Gorens track record over the last 5 years I would be willing to bet that the servers get turned off and the game is abandoned within a year.

How about bot matches that were added on release and then we were told "We dont have to say anything about them" seems questionable.
Founder of the company stating himself that the game has no promise unless everyone purchases DLC and then immediately leaving his OWN discord.
Mods in discord banning all negative reviews without warning or timeouts
$20 EA Game with $40 content that requires you to PLAY and WIN every day
Tribes game with no Tribes
Game modes created in playtest that were well received were removed and are going to be made into a new title.

The "Junk" content is literally content that is what makes Tribes......Tribes.

How can you have a game called tribes but then lock the TRIBES behind a paywall and offer no lore?????? The game doesn't even have enough standalone content to justify a $20 price tag. $10 would have been the price point if any money at all should have been asked for a game with 1 game mode, a community driven competitive scene, and no free unlockable content.

bruh I was just talking to them, i said they ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up by releasing the game early and then charging 100$ for it they shouldve been more patient. I got banned without warning for criticizing them. That alone makes me want to leave a negative review of the whole game because if those are the kind of people behind the scenes I have little faith that the game will succeed. which is a shame because I actually loved Tribes 1, 2, and Ascend. Like dont do silly things like add 365 skins instead making a complete game, and you wont get criticized.

Yeah the CEO is unprofessional and thin skinned. He can't take any feedback that isn't "this is the best game ever!" Couldn't take the feedback during playtest and now he's dealing with people outside the echo chamber he cultivated giving him real feedback. Good riddance to this title.

They're an "independent" studio, led by Hi-Rez's founder and chairman.

why people get butthurt over 20 bucks? bruh i just spent that on 2 coffees this morning. They gave you a working game, you paid for it and likely even played the many open beta, get over it and stop the cope.

This. Between the playtest and the early access, it will be easy to get 20-30 hours of play for $18. Even if it only lasts 8 months it still feels worth it.

Just last night I had to pay literally $170 just to take my family out to dinner. This is way more worth it.
