How to unlock more parts?
Hey everyone,

I just started playing and find myself in some trouble with unlocking new parts.
I've played around for some time in the vehicle designer and did some story missions aswell.
I'm now currently level 25 if I remember correctly but still havn't unlocked a single part like fuel/ammo processors, elevation barrels and shield projectors for example. Do I need to do different story missions and have just been unlucky or am I missing something else? Also aren't there any level related unlocks? Do I just need to raise my level some more?
Unlocking parts with skill/attribute points is working fine.

Would really appreciate some help.

When you open your building interface where you choose with which block to build there should be some text at the top telling you what kind of blocks are displayed(orientation help for new players). To the right of that text there should be a more button which unlocks the next batch of blocks. Just keep hitting that button :-)

That's it! Thanks a lot! So I actively have to unlock them by myself each time? Because there was no indication that I did unlock something. I thought they would just unlock automatically.
Or is this just a one time thing which isn't related to the unlocks at all?

Unlocks got removed from the game (thanks). It should be permanent if you press the "more" button, unless you use the "less" button :P

Oh okay than the "Unlocks" button should really be removed from the character screen because it's quite misguiding since there are several (as it seems outdated) tutorials on yt. :P

Anyways, thanks again for all the help. Now I can start to build ships the way I want them instead of putting ridiculous cannons with 10 barrels on top because I don't have explosive or armor piercing warheads xD

Edit: Actually I like those cannons, just now they're are going to be a lot more powerful...maybe I need to increase the size of my ship again :P
