Never found Advent black Site for Vial until 25 days left on Avatar Project

I didn't double the length of the Project when starting coz someone said the game would take even longer. Apparently you need to though merely to give players enough time to 'Find a Facility Lead' or games over just when your squads are getting good. The mods exhausting enough without that kind of sadness embedded

It's poor documentation/explanation, for sure. Don't let it dissuade you from another attempt, though.

Someone may be along to post a helpful link, but just be on the look for a hack-type objective mission that only offers Intel as a reward (no Intel package). That's the first "liberation" mission - all others will be marked liberation in the pop-up info after you beat this one. Once you entirely liberate a region (5 missions total) you'll get the Avatar counter.

Aim for doing the final liberation mission by July. You can certainly do it much earlier or a little later, but that's a decent benchmark.

In LW2, find facility lead missions cannot spawn until you have liberated at least one region.
The sooner we can liberate something, the better.

I had liberated one region. I infiltrated the black site takig 3 bars off the project and then very soon after, they have 3 avatar improvements in a couple of days and it went from a 26 day countdown down a 6 day one. I think it would have been nice to have a chosen slaying knock one off the meter also.
