Psionics Research
I have tapped out my research and can only do the improvement research or render my small supply of corpses. I would really like a mutton corpse or a section corpse to get psionics and plasma grenades. How do I get them? I did two missions where the reward was alien material and there were mutons but I did not receive a mutons corpse. How do I ge these corpses?

if you killed them with explosives you do not get corpses, otherwise you should of had them

Thanks. Are there other missions besides "enemy material" missions where you can get corpses?

Spy in haven missions as well, practically any mission that doesn't force you to evac

sectoids didnt unlock psionics for me and im not recovering mecs
Used the console and there are a few techs that seem to have gone missing... need a damn tech tree for LW2 to find wtf has gone wrong as the autopsies seem to bein a set path.

Here you go. Also I've heard that you specificaly need to have the corpses as well as the autopsy in order to unlock the researches. Autospy consumes the corpse so thats what most likey happned.

its not even a faded tech option (lacking resources) and when I look at the archive for sectoid autopsy it doesnt include psi research as an unlock.... bug perhaps?

Think was a corruption because deleting the mydocs configs and all the mods then putting them back seems to have fixed it (killed my old save though... defeat cutscene the second i go to geoscape.. grr)

already tried your Solution! Save Game luckily still working but still no psyonics:(

Thank you! Indeed I did Not have one... I was just so advanced already that I was thinking it is bugged! Additionally, I asumed i would be marked Red with Missing Sectoid Corpse :)

Sadly it's a hidden requirement
As i don't think a 2nd sectoid corpse is used in the Reserch just a requirment for it to show up

Also i'd suggest getting quite a few sectoid corpses as the Psi whip can be quite useful
and the will penalty is negated by a PCS that you can make after Psi reserch is done

I don't consider myself a modder and have only done a few .ini edits here and there but, looking at the Sectoid Autopsy 'code', it shows RequiredItemTemplateName1="SectoidCorpse" (with no 2nd and 3rd requirements) and then RequiredItemCost1=1.

The ones that don't use up any items were RequiredItemCost1=0.... so wouldn't that mean needing a corpse for it to show up and then consuming it when you start it?

No worries as I still have a lot of questions too about LW2. Can't avoid the fact that you need TONS of corpses here though. XD
