Hard crashing after mission sucess

I keep running into an annoying 'glitch' where it hard crashes the game (and nearly freezes my entire computer) sometimes after I finish a mission
the landing cutscene does not play, instead the camera just freaks out and stays locked at some random palce outside the avenger
and I cant do anything
reloading in mission saves and finishing the mission over will lead to the exact same result every time
tested 8 times; over two campaings
in addition to the irritation, both times it happened it was after rather long and hard missions where I barrely manage to suceed.
is there ANY fix for this?

Does it happen after youve played several hours straight in a row ?

It happened to me maybe 2 times at the most over 100 or so hours, 1 time if was after playing roghly 4 hours straight.

this time I have played about 2 or 3 hours in a row or so; the first time it happened it was literraly just my 3rd mission (second If one ignored gatecrasher) and less time than that
I considered the possibility of it being time based
but if that is the case, why does the game still glitch if I reload a random save from the mission and re-do it?

Im pretty much the last person to offer fixes but since no1 is here yet..... could it be a memory leak, not specfically this game just 1 in general ? Could it be heat related ? Does you GPU have 4 or more ram ?

I considered that too
but my pc is not overheating
and I can play every single other game I own, including several far more CPU heavy than xcom 2, with no problems

well i havent played since LW2 came out but can you check to see the GPU versus CPU load of the cutsecenes ?

Are your specs at least 50% higher then min ?

Other than that just do the usual stuff, defrag keep everything clean and delete all temp garbage files of your pc.
