XCOM Ultimate Collection is still priced as if Anarchy's Children, Alien Hunters, and Shen's Last Gift still cost money, and those DLCs are actually included in the XCOM 2 Collection for free even if they are not listed in "items included in the bundle" list, they are mentioned as being in the bundle in the description.

So if you don't own any XCOM stuff on Steam, at the usual sale prices the XCOM Ultimate Bundle costs $20.14, and the XCOM 2 Collection costs $7.97. But if you buy the XCOM 2 Collection bundle first, you get the 3 N/A marked DLCs included, which brings the XCOM Ultimate Collection down to $5.69 to complete this bundle. Giving it a total price of $13.66 to get everything in the XCOM Ultimate Collection instead of $20.14.

They aren't "free" in the XCOM 2 Collection, they are in the "Reinforcement Pack". But your point stands. No idea why in the Ultimate Collection they are listed separately with the old individual pricing when it is no longer possible to buy them separately otherwise.

Yeah, I missed that. It was 3AM when I worked that out. The way Ultimate Collection is made right now, it is cheaper to buy the XCOM Enemy Unknown bundle and the XCOM 2 Complete bundle, $17.96 instead of $20.14. Still more expensive than buying XCOM 2 Complete and then buying the Ultimate Collection bundle, which gives a total price of $13.66.
