If having to accept I can't play LWOTC, what are the best mods for WOTC?

As the title says, I can't find a way to get LWOTC to work. I've tried everything I can think of, updated drivers, reinstalled the game and mods, deleted everything left behind inbetween, tried old launcher, new launcher, AML and everything else suggested to fix the problem.

-so.. I want to enhance the WOTC-experience.. and need guidance to which mods are the most useful.

Core Collection is good. and if you like heavy there is this: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3381448199 its a covert infiltrated list with all the long war classes in WOTC campaign.

For LWotC my only guess would be that you need to have the Shen's Last Gift DLC enabled as it's now a requirement. But it certainly sounds pretty sad to me since I can no longer imagine to play the game without LW or without WotC.

Pretty much all of the "A Better Advent" mods are a must, in my eyes. It adds a ton of depth the the standard enemies you face without breaking the game.
