XCOM 2
RPGO vs Amalgamation
Hello, i'm getting back into xcom 2 after ages.

I used RPGO in my previous playthroughs and did enjoy it but i see a lot of ppl using Amalgamation now and the common reasons they state are that RPGO makes the soldiers too OP and that they find themselves choosing the same perks etc

My question is that, RPGO has options that we can use to limit our options/classes & perks. What about Amalgamation is really better?

Personally I've tried Amalgamation several times and never gotten very far with it as i find its as they say on the tin "lacking the magic".

Its a bit too much random, i like to play RPGO when i play it by having a fixed Random class and two choices so i can customise to a degree what any given soldier is doing and typically try to theme it to the solider or their starting perks.
