XCOM 2
Customisation options missing??
I have reinstalled the game yesterday to satisfy that XCOM itch, and I noticed that lot of customisation options mainly for both hands are straight up missing. I never had any mods installed. I only play vanilla.

I did launch XCOM2 only without WOTC in case its relevant.

The cosmetic stuff appears on newly recieved characters but the moment I go to customisation menu, anything they had on their hands instantly dissapears.

Only hand options available are for the DLC Anarchy children. Classic options are straight up gone and not visible in the menu.

I didnt have this problem year ago when I played last time.

I have all DLC including WOTC but decided to the only the base game run. So I selected classic X2 in launcher.

its latest version, I dont even know how you can play older/other game versions.

The issue is that you're not playing WotC. The base xcom2 made the truly asinine choice to lock most of the cosmetic options behind each individual soldiers rank, such that only (end game) fully leveled soldiers get access to all the options.
If you still want to play without WotC there's a mod I can recommend that disables this "feature".

First mod I ever got, good times. That "feature" is why I learned the true meaning of the word "asinine".
