I have an Inspiron N7010
Basic Intel HD Graphic card
I3 processor (Intel64 Family 6 Model 37 Stepping 5)
Also it says I have Directx 10.1 (and sometimes it says 11, but who knows with this stuff.)
am i able to run this?
no, you have an integrated video card (it is not meant for gaming)
your cpu is not very good as well
Same here.... thought Direct X was for Windows only so wondering why it's asking for it when running a MAC?!
i have a macbook pro 15-inch, mid 2014
i7 2.8 Ghz Intel Core
16 GB 1600 Mhz DDR3
NVIDIA GeForce GT 750M VRAM:2048 MB
I'm on El Dorado 10.11.3 and even on 1440x900 something resulution and minimal preset on graphics I can only get 15-20 fps.
I finished tutorial mission 40 minutes more or less, because of lags.
please fix it somehow. please...
Windows 10 (64 bit)
Intel Core i3 CPU 3.06 GHz
ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4670
DirectX Driver Version: 8.17.10.1129 apparently steam is wrong and my actual DirectX version is 10.1, according to the DirectX Diagnostic Tool
RAM: 4021 Mb
I get the launcher, then my screen goes black and one of two things happen:
1. Windows tells me that the game has crashed and that I should close the program.
2. It stays on the black screen indefinitely, Alt+Tabbing does nothing, Ctrl+Alt+Del almost works (painting the screen tells me that I am on the Ctrl+Alt+Del screen, but it is still completely black and clicking the options "available" does nothing). I have to manually shut off and restart my computer to continue using it.
Somehow in the series of verifying the game cache, uninstalling and reinstalling, and trial and error with booting up the game I've logged 33 minutes. I'll be upset if it turns out my computer simply is incapable of running the game and I've already breached the refund threshold from the many tries I have been (and likely will be) putting in to get it to work properly.
I think DirectX may be my problem, but I think that my graphics card isn't totally compatible with DirectX 11 (or 12 even) but apparently since I have Windows 10 I also have DirectX 12 so I'm fairly confused about this. It may just need a patch to work on my computer for all I know, I had this same sort of problem with Darkest Dungeon but patches fixed my problems.
Anyway, if anyone can explain what they think may be wrong or if it should actually be working that'd be great! :D
OS: Windows 10 64 bit
Proc: Intel Core 2 Quad CPU Q9650
Video: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 285
Direct X I think is up to date.
Lemme know if Im missing anything important.
RAM I know isn't a bad fix, I can just download more from those wonderful websites buy some more, I'm pretty sure I have two slots available for more RAM.
However, if my graphics card is the problem (I suspect it is) then obviously I'm gonna go buying RAM from Apple for this computer. (this is an iMac running windows)
Seems strange to me that of all the things to get outdated in this computer, it'd be the video card instead of the processor but I don't really know that much about computers so maybe my assumption is dead wrong.
Thanks for patrolling this thread and helping out the computer-noobs like myself.
Tomorrow i'm buying a new card and will test it again (hopefully it will work properly).
