Feel free to ask questions to clarify things, and share opinions, but remember to treat everyone with respect, and remember that there may not be answers to all questions.

This includes asking if people think your system will run the game, or run it well. Every answers is the poster in question's own opinion, even if it's a moderator saying it. Other threads asking such questions may be merged here, or closed with reference to this thread.

That doesn't even come close to the minimum specs. Save your money and invest in a gaming pc. Check out cyber power pc. You can get a very nice pc for around $500 that can easily handle Xcom 2
I had your exact same build........

In my vacuum cleaner :D

Dont buy a prebuilt. Use the money and buy parts to build your own computer
Ram means nothing. Ram is literary just space for running certain things at one time. You can have a car that is 18 feet long, but you still need a powerful enough engine to run it, but it can hold a lot of people.

I would suggest trying to play it and if it does not work, refund the game.

Not everyone knows how to build a pc and im doubting this guy does either. Cyberpower PC's are very good computers. I have one and it runs flawlessly.

I bought parts and had it built. It wasn't that expensive to pay someone to build it.

So I got Intel(HD Graphics 4000 on my Linux. Requirements state, that Intel cards are not supported. Is support for this planned or should I cancel my preorder?

If you ordered it on Steam, you can try it out first, less than 2 hours game time and within 2 weeks of release; if it doesn't work for you or the settings just make it a bad experience, you can do a Steam Refund if needed.
You think I'll manage to run this?
So I have a laptop,
Intel HD 4000,
4 gigs ram,
ya know, it's bad.
But I can run EU decently, and i've managed to make things work for many other games by messing a ton with graphics. I dont mind lowering resolution and quality to get the game running. It doesnt look overly demanding, and it also doesnt seem like it needs a very high fps to be enjoyable. You think I can manage it?
You might have a chance if you run the game on low resolution with the lowest settings.
1GB ATI Radeon HD 5770, 1GB NVIDIA GeForce GTX 460 or better are listed as Minimum. I dont think your Intel HD 4000 will get playable FPS in XCOM2. But you can test yourself and if it does not run do a Refund. ;)

I found a List with playable Games for your Intel HD Graphics.

I'm used to it xD
You know, your notebook is below minimum requirements. Sure the developer might make a safety net (like what CDProjectk does); but with your specs, I doubt you can get a good fps ingame even on lowest setting. But there is steam refund, just buy, try, refund if not working.

Just a quick guess, but what FPS do you think I could manage, with settings to their lowest and resolution lowered?
