There are 16 voices (per gender) for English (10 American, 4 British, 2 Australian), and 10 voices for French, German, Italian, and Spanish. There are no voices for any other kind of accented English (including actual UK accents like Irish, Scottish or Welsh), or for any other languages.

Would have settled for 4 of each of the existing language types, then getting languages from the rest of the world.

Of the 4 British English, one is Scottish and one seems to be meant to be Northern Irish. Which is still weak, but Scottish is in there.

I don't know, if it's meant to be Scottish, it sounds really weak; to me, it just sounds like somebody from Northern England.
There is mistake in Russian localization. The commander must be translated as "Командир" but in localization, its translated like "шеф" (Boss). Fix it pls.
Check russian translation - many grammar mistakes, bad font characters.
for example: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=619547914

And please add RUSSIAN VOICELINES.

Speaking as someone in the north of England, it really doesn't.
I clearly recognize some of the voices being taken from EW. So, why not Russian?
it would be great if they added a few packs of language, eg. Polish, Russian, Japanese for soldiers. English is 3 times wtf But wait a moment this solution is cheaper. Thanks 2K

The Russian and Polish Soldier Audio files ARE in the game folder! They're just not selectable in game, if you edit the .ini files to include them they sound robotic and distorted so if you want to include Russian and Polish you'll have to correctly mod them into your game using the provided files in the Xcom2 directory or mod them from EU/EW into X2

Just to add I'm not a modder so when I did my attempt to add the Russian and Polish voices I may have done something wrong that made them distorted and robotic but the other possible reason is that they was working on the other languages but ran out of time? which is why the Russian and Polish voice files are in the game folder but not completly finished or optimized for the final release. A bit tacky that they left them in unfinished imo if they are not included in the games release but until a Dev comments on why they are not in the game but in the game folder its anyones guess.

Maybe just maybe down the line they will release free patches/updates to address the lack of content ie: missing languages, etc.

If you want to know where the voice files are, they are in C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\XCOM 2\XComGame\CookedPCConsole

Well... Seems like 2K and devs don't care.

Give them time. Its not as bad as BW's last patch on swtor. That patch failed. Even after taking +10 hours to get it in...

At least they could say their word. But game was sold (500K copies, peak sales are over (in profit terms)), no sense to translate something after this moment since people already bought the game.

Long tails are good in software sales, and long tails depend on support much more. XCOM 2 still hasn't sold anywhere near as many as there are XCOM:EU owners on Steam.
