XCOM 2

Random people
2 things about this doesn't make sense to me:

1 - When the firefight begins, they should be running for cover, not standing in the middle of the street.

2 - When the ADVENT is present, in all of it's forms, I can see them not being too scared. But when the actual aliens show up like the sectoid, viper and muton... they should be runing for their lives.. especially in the ADVENT cities.

What do you think?

You're probably right. Maybe a mod?

For number 2, they are aware of the aliens and have been taught they are their friends.
Its a turn base game........not everything is going to happen right away all out once. Also the human race has been been united with the aliens and have been living with them for quite some time............its what they wanted, that's Coca Cola Diversity for ya lol

Right, right.. but then the aliens open fire and they keep standing there. Even if it's for their protection, you end up being in the middle of a fire fight. You know what I mean?

Why should they run away from the Aliens? They are worshipping them kinda, because of better life and everything. The Aliens also did things, that their look is more friendly looking towards human.

Sure, as was said before, so I elaborated about the condition. Standing around in the middle of a fire fight is dangerous, no?

Staying still in the middle of a firefight is admittedly a problem they had in terror missions in EU/EW as well.

Yup, and to clarify further, I don't mean a block away either, I mean the bullets, lazers, magnetic projectiles, plasma or whatever is flying right over your head.

Are you sure, they aren't moving in their turn? Because Turns go like: XCOM, Aliens, Civilians. And I have seen Gameplay, in which Civ move after Aliens turn.

I'm sure. I've seen enough different LP's to be able to say this. Then there is XCOM: EU/W behaviors too.

... but they move in XCOM: EU/EW. Are you now talking about, that they don't leave the map or something?

they do look as though they "scatter" if the action gets too close.
i.e an alien or xcom unit moves near to them.
otherwise they kinda stand there with morbid fasionation as to whats happening.

Civs should be random when SHTF and things go messy. Also, Faceless should cause total panic in a civ when they flip. Unless they're being drugged or something similar.

Hmm maybe drugs in the drinking water. :) While you see the evil Alien they see a fluffy bunny. Or when they tear civilians apart it looks for the others like they just want to play and do not understand why you attack this harmless great aliens. :)

Okay, in XCOM EU/W, the humans would not run away from the aliens in terror missions. Not every time mind you, but enough for it to be an issue. Check it out in your own game to verfiy, or look online.

In XCOM2, during combat engagements, the humans stand in the middle of the fire fight, as in the action is all around them. Even if the aliens are their friends, the moments bullets start flying and grenades go off they should react. I can see how some would run to the aliens for protection, and in the process away from the xcom squad, but to stand in the middle of the combat doesn't make a lot of sense.

Do you see what I'm getting at?

Now, the faceless. How would any human standing near one not crap their pants and run when a faceless emerges from a person standing nearby. Does that make sense?
