XCOM 2: Digital Deluxe edition worth it?
Tittle. I'm debating right now if I buy the deluxe version or not, is this version just cosmetics or have more content, like missions?, worth the extra money getting this?

The DDE contains nothing you won't be able to buy separately except the game's official soundtrack.

It does, however, seem to provide a slight discount on the Reinforcement Pack (at least on my Steam region).

This pack's content is made of three DLCs. This page contains everything we know about them.

Are you incapable of reading what is in the digital deluxe edition for yourself?

The first DLC will be cosmetic stuff.
The second will add more cosmetics as well as new content.
The third will also add more content as well as a sixth class.

imo, it is worth it just for the customization, new class, missions, alien types, etc. However, if you are unsure, I would play the base game first then get the extra content afterwards if you decide you want it.

EDIT: RIGHT, THAT WAS THE WHOLE REASON I GOT THE DDE, THE SOUNDTRACK. THNX FOR REMINDING ME Lathy!

Kind Regards,

It gives you the game($60) a season pass and soundtrack($20) also the pre-order bonus just cosmetics(probably $3-$5) for the cost of $75 so yes it is a good deal. Although I have heard that you could getthe base game for about 25%-50% off so you could do that and then buy the seasonpass and soundtrack, so those are your options I think the steam version is the best one because it is safe and already on steam although I can see why some people might not like it(RDM).

I loved the first game so I decided to buy the Deluxe Edition. Xcom has been all about the soldier customization and getting attached to the soldiers for me, so buying the DE wasn't a hard choice. Reinforcement pack gives new soldier customization, new class etc..

So basically, if you were a fan of the Enemy Unknown/Enemy Within, you should buy the DE.

The additional price to the digital version is worth the cash. cause it contains 3 pack.
1st pack is probaly only cosmetic.
2 contain more weapons and different type of missions.
3 contains a class

All 3 ads more customisation options for your troops.
So you save probaly half the price if you buy DE version now. instead of buying it on release.

Offcourse in the end everything will be on sale. in a year.
But that is up to you. how long can you wait.
But the DLC for the price is worth it in my eyes. cause of the customisation options.
And I think it is a good call they accepted what was important. small visual details do ad a huge amount of fun for people. especially if you got attached to some trooper.

2 missions, 1 class, and some soldier customizations, with the first two delivered at a later date in summer. Doesn't sound worth it to me. If you think you will be playing this game in summer still, or pick it up again, then it might be a good deal.
