So...the ADVENT Tower Mission
OBVIOUS SPOILERS READ AT YOUR OWN DISCRETION

Bradford mentioned something about there being no turning back. I want to make sure I have a decent squad of Psi's ready for the very last mission afterwards, for the Who Needs Tygan? achievement. However, once I hit the ADVENT tower do I still have time to train my Psi's some more or am I rail-roaded into the last mission immediately afterwards?

Straight to the next one.

Nope, you don't get any more time to do anything else. You finish that mission and the only option is to go straight to the next one.

Also, injured soldiers don't get to heal up. They might still be brought along on the final mission (just like when you had to defend the Avenger) but they will have less HP, meaning they will probably require a medikit rather soon and it's a VEEERY long mission that you've got ahead of you.

Wonderful. Thanks so much for the quick replies.

First week there was a break in between but they have removed it now. and also nerfed the spawns. also added that you can get a 4th soldier.

I ran it with 3 on the first week. and heck it was hard but fun none the less :)

Getting that 4th soldiers is a random bonus you can buy with intel. Got it on my first run, didn't on my second, which made taking out pods a bit tougher. Having a ranger with a ton of mobility and a psi op with inspire makes finshing the level pretty easy, though!

so if someone got injured somehow I can't take them on the last mission?

You can take injured people on the final mission, they just start with reduced health.

And I think the "first week" bit was referring to before they hotfixed the game, though I wasn't aware they changed the final missions at all.

When you start tower mission, you can spend intel for various bonuses. The ones you are offered are random, and one of them can be to add a 4th trooper.
In any case, make sure you have about 150-200 intel left to expend on those bonuses.
A psi with dominate really helps here. All the times I played, first pod I ran into had an Andromedon whom I immediately enlisted as my meat shield.

Lol yeah welll I played it in the first week xD

It was three ppls only and tbh it didn't seem unfairly difficult in any way
