How does multiplayer in this game work?
Im looking for a fun, addicting, turn-based multiplayer and singleplayer game. How does multiplayer work in this game? is this a good game overall anyways? Does it have a lot of replayability? thanks!!

Multiplayer is only played by about 1.2% of the community. Single player is the sole purpose of the game and most people probably would not notice if multiplayer went away.

First off the multiplayer got very little attention from devs, most of the base game qualities are taken out of it. The net code is pretty terrible and it will probably take a long time to find a match.

Usually multiplayer is only played friend vs friend.

So in my opinion and the opinion of about 98% of the community, the multiplayer sucks.

If you are going to buy this game remember that you are buying it for the single player. Unless you fit into that 1.2%

How long does the singleplayer last? like, is it a campaign? is there alot of replayability in singleplayer?

The singleplayer is the only thing makes this game alive and the replayabilty is endless because you always find new challenges (Change the dificulty or installing mods).
PLS don´t buy it because of multiplayer you only go for it when you're bored.

It can last maybe 30-40 hours on veteran/normal. If you bump it to legendary it can be over 40 hours. Then you can add mods and play again.

The point of the single player is that you can lose the game and fail, kind of like binding of Isaac. There is a story but you can easily fail the game you spent hours in. Every new campaign is a new "run". It is meant for replayability.

If you know the game or save scum yes you can blitz through it very quickly.

Even then there is massive replayability even just in vanilla by adopting different tactical strategies or class builds. That combined with the procedurally generated maps and random starting worl map layout means you will get a new experience each time.

Then you add in mods some of which are massive overhauls of the basic game ala Long War and you have many many hours ahead.

If you are looking specifically for multiplayer and single player I would look at Age of Wonders 3. Its the closest well work game Ive found out there.
