Bluescreen protocol and experimental ammo
Hi,

Just wondering how these new ammo types will work before researching them as I am low on resources. Will they automatically become the standard munition of certain weapons or do they take an item slot? And in that case are they worth it?

They take an item slot, they are very much worth it against robotics, other rounds also have very good uses against organic enemies.

Bluescreen protocol gives EMP grenade and bluescreen rounds, they are useful against robotic units. Experimental ammo gives different type of custom ammos, but most of them are useless imo. They aren't standard, so you have to equip all of them to a slot. AP rounds can be useful, and maybe Talon as well, but you need some luck to get those.

Id say they are all pretty useful really, even the venom rounds poison effect can stop many units from using their abilities next turn, aswell as doing more damage and potentially finishing them off.
