how to mass delete saves

is there a way to mass delete old saves? i just want to clear them or do they auto delete after a point?

If you delete the CharacterPool folder, yes. However the savefiles are kept seperate in a clearly marked folder. The only way you can make this mistake is to just delete the entire XCOM 2 in your documents file.

I looked in the documents under "\Documents\My Games\XCOM2\XComGame\SaveData" but if I search it, it comes up with nothing and when I go to the XComGame it doesnt have the SaveData anywhere.

Do you mean that that file doesnt actually exist or that its because there isnt actually any save data in the files? cause if its the latter then I'll have you know that after 180 hours of save scumming there is more than enough.

Do you have more than one user on your computer? Make sure you are in the correct users documents folder
