Random exploding cars?

I was wondering if this is a bug or not. At the end of a turn cars will just random explode even though they had not been hit or on fire. I have lost missions because of this. Just wondering if anyone else has encountered this.

i did, sometimes you hit them on other turns even if they are not on fire. Although there are those occasions when the game just desides it likes things that explode. Have been trying to reproduce this if you have a save file on this make sure to save it devs might want to look at it.

They're unpredictable for sure, don't know if intented or not. Better to just stay away from them ;)

There's a reason why the Xcom 2 stats page has almost 60% of lost soldiers to "collateral dammage".... I just stay away from cars altogether
