What exactly do negative effects (acid, poison, burning) do?
How much damage per turn over time, how many turns do they stay infected, and how do they affect aim/movement?

Thanks!

From what I saw (From my own guns anyway) Is it's usually 3-4 turns, with acid hurting mech units for 3 or 4 (Though with Volitale it was up to 5 per turn)

Fire I don't know much, Acid has a good chance to panic enemies, lowering their aim and making them fall back

Burning makes organic enemies run away and waste their two actions, but they won't be in an official panic state (despite acting like it).

DoT inflicts 1-3 damage for a turn or two. All the aforementioned statuses inflict DoT.
Burning only affects organic targets, but it will prevent skill activation.
Acid is able to affect mechanical targets.
Poison only affects organic targets, but restricts their aim and movement.

I always bring dragon rounds with my sniper and an acid nade on my grenadier but never ever had any organic unit run when being affected by either. Didn't even know that could happen.

Acid-The only grenade that can shred up to 4 armor, does 3-4 damage each turn to the effected unite.

Fire-Does damage over time and prevents the unite from using special abilities(Still wont stop shield troops from using shield for some reason:steamfacepalm:). Also only effects organic units.

Poison-Has the largest radius dealing 3 damage upon impact, reduces units aim and mobility and temporarily poisons them. Only effects organics.

Fire and acid deal 1-3 damage, poison deals 1 (I think). If it's caused by the grenade of a soldier with Volatile Mix, add 2 damage per turn.
Fire and acid DoT is reduced by armor.
Fire disables most active and passive abilities other than Shoot.
Poison causes -30 aim and -4 mobility.
Acid DoT is unremarkable, but affects all units other than Andromedon.

Note that gas and incendiary grenades deal explosive damage, and will harm all units regardless of immunity to their after effects. Interestingly, acid grenades also deal explosive damage, but Andromedons completely ignore them anyway.

Just to clarify, the acid bomb itself will deal damage to and reduce the armor of Andromedon. It is only immune to the acid DOT (not the initial damage).

I am almost positive that one time I acid bombed an Andromedon and nothing whatsoever happened.
Maybe it just wasn't in sight of it (since grenades other than frag/plasma are subject to LOS) and I just got the immune message from the acid it was now standing in. I'll have to try it again.

Burning damage is reduced by armor while acid burn does not. Both deal 1-3 damage and last 2-3 turns. Poison deals 1 damage and lasts 4-5 turns and also reduces aim and mobility.

Both are reduced by armor. Just usually, something with acid burn on them doesn't have any armor left.
