Grenade Upgrade Bug

After getting the advanced grenade proving ground project, I tried to swap out my regular EMP Grenade. I found it just completely dissapeared, instead of turning into an EMP Bomb.

It's possible this also happened with my Acid and Gas Grenades, though I might have sold those before, I'm not sure.

Reloading the game doesn't change anything. Every time, I unequip the grenade, and it dissapears forever. Tried buying an EMP Bomb to see if I'd get two grenades displaying, but no such luck.

Anyone else had this error? Can anyone confirm it also deletes (instead of upgrading) un-equiped advanced grenades?

Had this one too.
something quite similiar seems to happen with unequipped weapons with mods on, they dont get upggraded. If you keep it equipped they are upgradded.

One is an item that you build via engineering, the other you need to create via proving ground facility which consumes an elerium core.

I lost my smoke grenades the same way. I reloaded my game several times, but the grenades kept dissapearing.. None of my other items or other grenades were affected. I hope it only happens once.

Yeah lost my smoke grenades and had to buy new ones after the upgrade.

Well then, hopefully it'll get fixed. I'm not saying I need my old grenades to upgrade automagically to the better oens, I just want my old ones to not dissappear. I think that's a reasonable request :D

Anyone know of a mod fix for this yet?

Did Proving ground experimental grenade task, got proximity mine, lost incendiary bomb permanently from whole game. The whole concept of incendiary grenade or bomb has disappeared from the game. Quite bizarre. Had to go back to a much earlier load to get it back; tedious.
