What PCS do you like to give to each class?

My favorite PCS to give to the Ranger class is "Conditioning". When its available.
It seems the loot rng gives me alot of Dodge though. Its kinda the default PCS for my squad.

I don't have enough of them to even give to a whole team lol

perception +aim makes the overwatch penalty disappear and w/ guardian on a specialist w/ the class bonus from gto is way op my 1 spec was in god mode with guardian constantly procced
agility +dodge (grazed shots have saved my high level soldiers on a few occasions)
mobility +movement is always nice

Perception is a PCS i've never seen yet.
So get an Aim bonus for the weapon and a Perception PCS for the same trooper. Sounds good.

Just this last mission "Will" dropped. Gave that to my Psi-trooper.

If you're going to put Wraith armor on a soldier Dodge, if heavy armor Conditioning, or if they're a sniper Movement.

If it's a special unit like a Ranger you want to use as a permascout movement is very helpful.

Ranger = speed
everyone else = aim
psi = sometimes will

I have been farming loot rather well in my cammander level game. (less use of explosives to get kills)

Specialists get movement, rangers get dodge, grenadiers get conditioning, sharpshooters get aim, and psi operatives get will.

I'd give them all movement if I could though. Movement is far more important than any other stat. It gives you quicker evacs, more scouting, more flanking shots, faster hacks, and greater distance to retreat/provide back up when needed. Giving them all aim is a close second for obvious reasons. Dodge and conditioning are terrible. You're actively hoping that you give the aliens a turn to destroy your squad.

Movement for rangers, making them repear like sonic the eagle wirls around like a razor blade.

Does increasing will on a PSI Op actually help in any way? Unlike XCOM1, PSI skill is a separate stat from will.
glenn3e Feb 12, 2016 @ 12:57pm
It doesn't increase PSI. I wasted mine on an already high will-ed Psi soldier.

On Veteran, whatever,
On Commander: AIM aim aim!, maybe mobility on rangers/specialist once lvl'd up somewhat high
but otherwise, the closer to 100% shot is just too important to me to even consider adding a puny chuck of health, that wouldnt save them anyway,
or dodge that.. well woudlnt save them anyway
vs a Miss/hit shot on enemy that literally makes it win or lose.. 99% aim can miss.. 100% can not.. so the higher the better,
since even with +4 health or 40 dodge soldiers still seem to get creamed if ur shot misses and teh enemy is alive

Aim is probably the best, but if you're like me, then through the entire game, you'll get exactly 1 middle tier aim PCS. I gave it to my sharpshooter. I gave mobility to most of the characters, health to my medic (to avoid 1-shots), and gave Dodge when I had nothing else to hand out. I sold the +Will PCS.

Pretty much this, except there is no point to slot will - by endgame everyone has around 100 will anyway, extra 20-30 is not doing anything really.
Speed for Rangers and Psi Ops, Aim for everyone else :/
