Stupid question i know...but... how do i pick up supply drops ?

ok so i keep getting a msg pop up saying
"attention
supply drop avilable
command, we still have a supply drop from the resistance awaiting pickup! We could use the additional supplies to puerchase weapons and armor, or build and upgrade facilities."

now im getting 100+
but when i go back to HQ, im still only 81 on my supplies counter :S
so i was wondering how do i actually pick up the supplies :S?

They appear on the strategic map. Just fly there and scan till you got them.

Yes, fly there and scan until you get them. Also, on the bottom of the screen is a bar where you can see every mission/supply drop etc available, you can also click on that to go right to it.

mmm turns out that you do one of the scans, and click "fly back to hq"
i manage to get the supplies that get dropped off there
(normally get them when i get the contact from the spokesman)

mostly get the video calls from him after i get the popup reminding me about the supplies

ill do a bit more checking to see whats triggering the HQ supply drop videos

On the bottom right click EXPAND QUEUE. See the "X days till Supply drop" notification. That is what triggers it. It is your monthly income. You have to collect it. You don't instantly get it on the month update with the speaker dude like last time. Pro-tip: NEVER click "fly back to HQ" it wastes time. Use the bar at the bottom of the screen to navigate it's better.

It is a new game mechanic. In previous games, funds were simply wired to you every month. Here, you dont have a bank account or permanent base, so resistance just leaves you a supply drop that you need to pick up when you can.

One twist on this is there is a dark event: rural checkpoints. If you dont counter it, your next supply drop gets cut in half.

The hologlobe-strategic layer wasn't explained well in the tutorial, I think. I had the same problem (along with not understanding how the avatar/communicate with new resistance mechanic worked.)

You have to go collect your resources--the resistance doesn't actually deliver them. Be sure also to head back to HQ to see what new staff and soldiers are available to buy...new ones come along w/every drop.

Oh, and watch for the resources that pop up on the map after a mission is complete. They're usually worth going to collect if you don't have anything else better to do while waiting/scanning.

i know that i dont get the money when i speak to him,
(im not talking about the main one that has the doom bar in it,
i mean the new recruits blah blah blah, he appears when you get back to HQ,)

i know i have to wait till the countdowns finished, what i meant was how do i actually pick up it,,,
but i find it out when i clicked "fly to hq" and i actually noticed the cash go into my stockpile
