Archon and Blazing Pinions

Does Blazing Pinions still activate even if you kill the Archon while it's still in the air? Had this happen to me and dont know if this was a bug or not.

Thanks! I ended up getting exploded, figured the rockets weren't going to release until the round ended.

Hehe, yep. The Archon has already fired his rockets into the air. Whether he dies or not, those rockets are now at the mercy of gravity :D

Blazing Pinions never impressed me as an ability though. If I ever left an Archon alive for a round I always was happy when he activated that ability instead of hitting a squaddie with his glaive. Too easy just to move, fire on his arse, and go about your day.
