Is my game bugged? Shadow Chamber research greyed out. Can't progress.

I have a full squad of fully upgraded soldiers and every single radio tower built. All buildings in the Skyranger are built and fully upgraded. I have done every single mission on the map (except the avatar project one in the middle of the ocean which is not available). I have completed all research (in both the research lab as well as the shadow chamber). Well, all except "Avatar autopsy" which is greyed out and says "all other shadow projects must be completed before undertaking this research". However, there are no other projects available (I've completed Codex Brain, Encrypted Codex Data, and Psionic Gate).

All weekend, I have been given random mission after random mission, but the storyline just won't progress. Is my game bugged?

Edit: Problem solved. Thanks guys. Apparently, I have to look for white buildings, not red ones..

what does the objectives tell you to do?
did you do the black site missions ( after the reserch of the black vial)

You have to raid the advent outpost from the MQ line, you get info on it, and do that research before you can do anyything else.

It is only used to researrch i think 2 things all story related. If you cannot progress then you need to expand your contacts until youu can raid the right advent outpost.

Under objectives, it lists 2 things.

1. Investigate the ADVENT Blacksite (Complete the ADVENT Blacksite Mission)
2. Examine the Recovered Avatar Corpse (Complete the Avatar Autopsy Shadow project)

The problem is I've uncovered the entire map and built radio towers everywhere and done every single ADVENT mission (I'm assuming those are the ones that pop up in red) for the past 24 hours and that first objective won't complete.

Yeah, if you're up to having the Avatar corpse, you almost have to have already hit the Blacksite.

Did you somehow not get the vial from the original Blacksite mission?

Definitely sure I've never gotten a mission to get any sort of vial.

Okay, you're somehow a goodly ways in without the blacksite triggering. Yeah, I'd say you hit a bug somehow.

FYI: the Blacksite should be the mission that prompts you to research Resistance Comms and meet your neighbors, like, right off the bat.

So I was in this position too - you can get the avatar corpse before you hit the black site - I had an avatar pop up after I brainjacked the codex.

The advent blacksites are NOT red on your map. They are white glowing icons. If you look at your mission bar across the bottom of your screen when on the map view, the red advent project icons appear on the right side of the bar and the supply, intel, and other goodie icons appear on the left. The HQ icon is in the middle of the bar.

The advent blacksite should appear to the right of the HQ icon, but they will not be red like the advent project sites.

If you have no advent blacksite icons on your bar or anywhere on the map (remember, they're white NOT red), then yes you are bugged.

You need to do the blacksite mission and vial mission, you are missing that.

It is needed that part too. you will see later. they are on the map white buildings.
Or on the strategy layer bottom center right side. you can click on those icons to show facilities and blacksite.

Oh THANK YOU guys! You just saved me having to restart. They are WHITE buildings. I was looking for red ones... The change in colour is kinda confusing. *headdesk*

Yes I didn't realize it at first either - red is only specific to the Avatar project sites, but it's still confusing since taking down a white-icon blacksite will also reduce the red Avatar doom timer... I think the distinction is only the red icon sites can increase the doom timer.

I'm in the same boat, but I have no white buildings left either..
Can they appear over time if I continue collecting intel boxes?
Shadow Chamber research I have made are Black Site Vail, Codex Brain and Encrypted Codex Data.
