Especially in the early game, engineers are the way to go for rewards.
1. Avatar Project advancement ++++ (This, ALWAYS must be stopped)
2. UFO hunt if I don't have 2 snipers yet.
3. Rest doesn't matter, they're inconsiquentail, easy to handle, or able to deal with.
UFO hunt isn't that bad if you do have 2 snipers. Esp if you research the ADVENT turret and build the defense rays. Those turrets with an engineer WRECK HOUSE. 75% chance to hit, 3 armor, and can attack twice a turn for 7-9 damage. And you get 2 of them. Shame I didn't see what the upgraded turrets did...
- UFO hunt
- More Chryssalids in all of the missions
BTW Technicians are more important than supplies. You can expand much faster and get more supplies per 20 days
1. chrysalids spawns on every mission.
2. avatar project progression (this can vary depending on full the progress bar is)
3. ufo hunting missions
4. poison ammo
5. alloy padding on advent troops. (early on manageable, late game however...).
The others are nuissances and in some situations can be bad for your game but the ones listed here will always affect your game negatively.
Also, do you guys think I should work to keep the avatar project bar always down or let it complete and then wait for the timer to almost run out and then do a black site mission?
The upgrade is 4 turrets.
Blammo!
Extra chrysallids and faceless are also quite high up there until I have high enough level troops to p.much ignore them as a threat.
How can you fail at that point, short of getting swarmed by heavy mecs/Gatekeeper and being unlucky? Those things take down an Avatar like they're nothing.
Extra Chryssid is a thing? Yeah, thats a 2nd priority. Bladedancer Ranger cleans them up as well as an Incideary grenade (They take double damage from Burning) but they're still annoying if they got a cocoon up.
But also one of the most fun mission ever
