oh man, the first time i tried the mimic beacon happened to be just before i skulljacked.... Man i ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ loved that, i had no idea the dude spawned after that. that lucky action turned what appears to be a tough enemy into a freaking cakewalk. dude got hit, split and then one clone landed right beside my ranger (lol), and the other one remained in sight of my gauss sniper.
havent tried any of them, but are their AoEs as huge as the flashbang?
How are they OP? They deal no damage and usually only soak two attacks and later on only one.
The gas nades have a large AE, and acids are pretty good, but do more damage..
i imagine it would even out the longer you go with the game, keeping relatively usefull vs extremely tough and strong enemies
sounds good, ill give em a try later
I just feel like I can chuck one out with 3 of my guys flanked and not have to worry about anything that next turn. They are a bit too good IMO. I'm not sure about later on.
ALL HAIL MIMIC BEACON!
Flashbang breaks mindcontrol? Damn that's awesome.
And yes, flashbang is pretty much a must have if you run the alphastrike/CC tactic of never letting the enemy get any shot off.
