*Possible Spoiler* Tracking the Codex's point of origin

I have run round the whole map and found a portal looking Item and not much elese but nothing trigers the objective for this mission. What am I missing?

I had this issue aswell, there's ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ sand bugs buried you have to kill scattered around the map, just cycle around the map and overwatch everyone constantly till you get all the chrysalids. (The objective being kill remaining enemies).

You should also be able to see between turns itll go to the chrysalids digging around where they are, just be careful when you get near cause they'll pop and dash attack, little sand terroist ♥♥♥♥♥ that they are.

Are you actually in the mission? The portal thing is what you are looking for but make sure you have also killed all the enemies. Chrysallids like to burrow so you won't see them immediately.

Possible your mission could be bugged as well.

I had two snipers a ways away overwatching, the rest of my people spread around the 5 raised rocky platforms, nothing was happening. So I started moving the five around the platforms and eventually something triggered. I don't even know exactly what I did to make stuff happen.

TLDR: Reload....Playstation 4 user, explored entire map. No cyrsallids to be found. Pulled my Squad back to about half way through the map. Reloaded. Gatekeeper Cut-seen triggered when I got my first guy within 20 hex's of the gate.
