Probable causes :
- since I installed Windows 10, playing in Fullscreen often provokes crashes in some game. Borderless or Windowed stops the crashes.
- VSync was on in-game but was off in GPU control panel
Of course, the actual cause could be something going wrong while in Fullscreen, like the Avast fullscreen setting going bad.
I had this too until the other day when I noticed I was playing in normal Fullscreen mode, after swapping over to Borderless Windowmode I haven't crashed since. Try that :)
, use it. I am sitting on three monitors and always cut the signal to two when playing. It's just hitting two buttons, so the inconvenience is minimal. However in terms of stability this is rather huge.
After this + the aforementioned workaround I am still getting crashes
