Marksman Face off vs Kill Zone?

Which one is better ? I been getting pistols skills because they are really handy to finish things off etc but kill zone just looks really great has anyone actually tried these?

would really appreciate some input face off sonds really cool but kill zone seems better. Do you need longwatch for killzone to work properly?

Depends if you are going Pistol or Rifle, in most cases for a Sharpshooter Killzone is overpowered and awesome, but if you are going a more pistol heavy thing, the former is better.

Killzone is pretty bad at the start...

But later when your sharpshooter gets aim bonuses and such, dear god is it awesome. Cant say for face off, never used it.

At the moment killzone is far more useful than face off in my play through. But face had its glory times.

Well i took the free pistol shot and and pistol counter attack so far because those skills are simply life saving i had two missions so far where they literally saved my ass vs stun lancer pistol seems essential but it looks to me like kill zone is amazing for defence missions im just wondering whether its worth taking without picking up thingsl ike long watch.

I actually dont have long watch, but I wish I did. If it stacks with killzone that would make killzone super powerful. However without long watch its still great. You can use killzone to watch an area, and any action the aliens make will be fired upon. I had a enemy try to take cover, get shot at, then try to over watch and get shot at a second time. Repeat for the other 3 enemies on the field and you have an empty sniper rifle lol

A good thing to remember is that you can retrain your soldiers at anytime, so you are not forced to play one or the other, you can try them out and see what suits you better. Takes a bit of time to undo all the skills so you can reassign them.

I personally took Faceoff, works great for concealment ambush traps. I position everyone, use overwatch then march my sharpshooter in to the middle and use Faceoff, getting 5-6 hits lol. (My sharpshooter even got a random ability from the grenadier class called "Chainshot" so he is even more OP)

Longwatch just replaces Overwatch and has nothong to do with Killzone.

Faceoff isn't great, unless you're fighting at close range.

Pistol skills are always awesome. In timed missions you want to move with your sharpshooter too so pistol comes in handy

Faceoff is better for one reason. Killzone requires you to give the aliens a turn, which you should always avoid anyway.

Moreover, Gunslingers are more mobile and as such can keep up with the squad. Not to mention, they can lay down 5+ shots in a turn if you need them to. Lightning hands > pistol shot > fan fire or faceoff.
