How long did you wait to do the first advent blacksite mission?

Just curious if people rush to it, or wait until their squad is built up a bit?

Really waiting for it and building up my squad, the avatar project will be complete in 2-3 days so should probably do it soon.

I did it right after i got plate armor and gauss weaponry (rifles and pistols).

I waited until I had magnetic rifles and the 'nanovest' equivalent underarmor.

I don't think it was really necessary though.

I rushed it had 4 guys used nades and stuff only 2 guys survived

I waited too long and lost because I couldn't get to the second one in time.

did it right after i unlocked the 5th squad slot, still had beginning armor and weapons because no supplies to buy anything with :(

I did it as soon as it was available.Used default weapons and armors,all i needed was flashbangs and one medkit.

I just did the first council mission that drops a square off of the avatar project countdown, so it's sitting at 3 or 4 now. Need to contact two regions to get to the first Advent site that was revealed.

I'm guessing I still have some time before I do the first blacksite mission then?

You shouldn't really worry about Avatar Project until it's half-filled.You can wait till 6 and still have no issues.

On the left side of the screen there's a button (the one that lets you see the current advantages ADVENT has) that allows you to see how long until the next facility is built. I'm not 100% sure, but I think it gets faster as you progress so keep an eye on it and don't delay them for too long.

Also, you're really unlucky. I don't think I've ever seen the first Blacksite spawn two regions away from the player.
