Can't move one of my soldiers

I'm towards the end of a VIP extraction mission, but one of my soldiers won't move. Her movement area doesn't show up, and no "move here" icon shows up no matter where I move my cursor. She has two actions left, but I can't use them to do anything but attack (she is a Ranger but I can't even target anyone with Slash).

Anyone else run into this / have a fix?

I have the exact same issue, VIP extraction mission, my ranger is completely stuck I can only attack - no move squares show up just the one she is stood on.

I had this as well on a "recover the item" mission. What happened, I think, is my sharpshooter was on the edge of the roof when alien fire destroyed part of the roof. I think she then "fell" but she still showed up on the roof. Additionally, she played this super slow get up animation. I think this happened because there was what looked like an arcade machine underneath her. the rest of my squad died and because I'm on ironman I had to just keep hitting overwatch over and over and over until a muton finally came inside the building and punched her to death.

I just ran into this with my sniper on the edge of a roof in a VIP extract. Does it ever resolve itself so that they can move again?

Not in my experience. I had to just accept the loss of that soldier.

Reloaded the save/Save & Exit reloaded? (if Ironman).

Probably what's happened is your soldier is on a null tile - easily achievable by falling from a destroyed roof onto an object below, ie. a printer prop that didn't get destroyed by the soldier on the fall.

Left or right click the area all around your hero, there is probably one of those hidden items I had, i spam clicked all around me for 10 seconds and got like 6 upgrades due to rng.

If that doesnt work exit game go to properties and verify game integrity, it should fix the shizzle.

I have the same issue.. Clicking around my soldier doesnt seem to do anything.

Same thing on VIP extraction. Sniper on edge of rooftop could not move. Building was burning below her. Luckily, I had a grenade on her. I made sure the textures were completely destroyed. Tossed that grenade right at her feet and BOOM! She blew up and fell 3 stories, but you know what? She moved and lived to tell the tale
