can't access facilities?
i'm currently early game and have to construct the proving ground facility. i can't click the area i have excavated to build anything. i can't utilize my engineers to build anything. i can't even go into engineering to build new items. is there some kind of mechanic i'm missing or is this just some kind of bug?
only time i can access research center is when a previous research completes. i feel like if i don't select new research i won't be able to go back in.

i built items earlier, i excavated a room...just nothing other than the command room is accessable.

Hi!
I have the exact same problem, the only thing I can choose is Geoscape, noting else works.

If you play the tutorial, the first part of the game is heavily scripted...you can only click on certain pre-determined things.
Look in the upper left corner to see exactly what the game wants you to do

Um, not sure if this relates to your issue or not. I'm just trying to help. Some of the facilities, one has to zoom into them, and then select open slot, assign (pull down menu). In the pull down menu, select an available/non-busy character and assign them to that slot. The reverse is true also, to free them up, click busy ones, it should unassign them, I think. I'm on my phone, so I can't verify this information.

If the problem is that you simply can't select the facility, it may be, that you have something more pressing going on.... for example, you might still be in the tutorial mode.

Another problem could be corrupted cache files. This is checked simply out of game by going to steam and verifying local game files. It should validate and fix files for you.

Other possibilities include mod issues. There are mods that have issues, that function... but, function with odd behaviors. That takes a lot of patience to track down, when you have a lot of mods.

Other possibilities include operating system , hardware and software issues (drivers).

Sometimes, the problem is just extremely simple.

Good luck,
Stephanie
