Stuck at 100%
Im stuck at 100% downloading
Steam fails to do whatever, and then tries again a minute after.
Steam loops trying to download or instal forever.
The game is stuck inside the "downloading" folder, and cannot install XCOM 2.
I have more than 50 GB of free Space (aside of the 30GB masive download)
I tried deleting and downloading again, same issue.

What I'm I missing? Can somebody help?

Does it still show you an ongoing timer in the download screen? Should be fine then. Otherwise, no idea.

just wait.. run it and wait for it to load, same hapened to me

Have you tried exiting Steam and restarting it? That worked for me wwith a previous game having the same issue.

Yes, restarted computer, steam and even download the 30gb again!

Look at your downloads screen, note that it may be at 100% but it's still processing files (decrypting)

What! No way, It's been all night doing that! 2 downloads!

Also, I forgot to say, when I launch it, it throws a timeout error!

pretty sure it depends on your pc unpacking some people took 2hours to unpack lol..why are people asking about this...it happens to all the big games that you pre-download :v...its just unpacking if your pc is slow its going to take awhile

pretty sure it depends on your pc unpacking some people took 2hours to unpack lol..why are people asking about this...it happens to all the big games that you pre-download :v...its just unpacking if your pc is slow its going to take awhile
But it says it fails! and its been doing that for around 8 hours!

Why i Ask? because I'm concerned, and payed good earned money for this!

On your downloads screen, beneath the blue PLAY button, is the blue bar full?

No, it isnt, but the hard drive usage is at 0. As well as network usage.

Silly question maybe; but have you tried Updating Windows (they often have updates awaiting a completion), and rebooting your PC?

Windows is linked to the graphics of many peoples PC.
Might be worth a shot.

I have the same issue, game is 100%, hit launch, it says its unpacking. Starts at 1 second, then goes to 2, then 3 seconds.

finally it crashes with a connection timeout error. Rinse and repeat.

My hard drive spikes for about 3 seconds, then stops doing anything when unpacking starts

Game says 100% in my library list

Maybe you errored the installation when you interrupted it for a redownload the first time, you may have to re-download and let it unpack again. But first I would uninstall, then go into your steam folder and delete any leftover files in your common apps folder for XCOM2.

Dunno, check around before you do it for other solutions as I'm not sure what the problem is.

I did, I have windows 8.1 (formated from windows 10 to windows 8.1) I've been running windows update for like an hour now, no new updates.
The error is thrown by steam, i guess it doesnt have to do anything with the graphics, but i'll keep trying
