XCOM 2
Razer Cortex can help you with the Performance and FPS?
I use Razer Cortex with all my games and always noticed a great improvement in performance and framerate. Maybe you people with XCOM 2 unlocked can try it and say if it helps:

Just configure it properly... like, disable explorer.exe and other stuff.

Anyway... after that post the results here. I hope it helps until a official fix. :steamsad:

Here's what's helping me with performance:

- Run with Razer Cortex
- FXAA instead of MSAA
- Fullscreen Borderless
- Steam Overlay disabled
- VSYNC disabled
- "Verify Game Cache"
- Reboot the Computer

I'm forcing some stuff with NVIDIA Control Panel too, but I don't recommend.

Anyway... it solved most of the performance insues, but it's everything too random: sometimes works great, sometimes freezes when the ship is flying to a mission.

Things that still causin' trouble: fast camera changes (when you move from a base section to another), the main map zoomed, some cutscenes without sound sync and the FPS unstable.

Hope it helps someone else!

Wow, just turning off Steam overlay and VSYNC has greatly improved performance. Good advice :)

It's pretty the same, but Cortex has some extra options and features. I like it better.

All game boosters do is shutdown backgrond stuff you yourself could shutdown, or not have running in the first place. It will only really help people that run abunch of bloatware in the background.

Yep... but with a Booster you don't need to find and close a lot of stuff and some Windows services and tools mannually everytime you want to play.

Here I close everything but Steam and EVGA Precision... closes about 50 services and apps save me 500MB of RAM everytime. Oh... and help with a weird Windows 10 bug that keeps minimizing game windows for no reason. :|

So, I have a bunch of stuff in my list of stuff that can be optimized & I don't have all of them checked. Is it ok for me to check everything? I assume they wouldn't have it there for optimizing if I couldn't but I wanted to confirm with someone who uses the program
