Seriously? I mean they made the game specific for the PC, and they forgot to implement this ubiquitous resolution? Can't be!

Yup not seeing anything higher than 1920x1200

I know you're trolling, but that's not how pc games work. Furthermore, you should probably learn about native resolution versus resolution scaling. Finally, just because you can't do something doesn't mean people who can have invalid opinions. :D:

There have been reports that people play it in 4k so it has to work to some degree.
TheKinkySlinky Feb 4, 2016 @ 11:12am
I am just going to enjoy the game on my 55 inch 1080p LED tv. And leave you guys to argue over 4k which is not a needed feature in games 1080p works just fine its still full hd not like your getting less of a exciting game

800 x 640 probably works just fine too, your point?

as OP said, it's probably something you can fix in a .ini file. It's just shabby that it's not in the options menu.

800x 640 is not hd my point is 1080p is full hd 4k is just a bonus its not needed and only people with super high end gpus can squeeze good fps out of a game at 4k. 1080p will be just fine for a game like this. Just enjoy the game and not worry about this kind of stuff
Jeckenn Feb 4, 2016 @ 11:16am
Likely once the modding community gets in gear we might see some releases that redo the textures to display properly in 4K resolution, though I don't really care cause all I need is 1080p

Or maybe I'm exactly the kind of person that worries about this kind of stuff and it's in fact what this thread is for. Mind trolling elsewhere?

WIth the advent of TV's beeing used as monitors there is no surefire way to say whos "fault" it is in that case. Even for fully fledged PC monitors some of those apply odd things to work within the specifications they set.

Since there is no proper API to use for any ole monitor such problems will become more prevalent the more we move towards 4k panels.

This "might" be a thing that devs can not fix but only the manufactures of the panels can. Until we get a API that hooks into Direct X or Opengl to force a certain standard such things can and will happen more frequently in the future.
