Girls do not play XCOM?

In December and January, Faraxis sent out the early preview/review build of XCOM 2 to a few dozen gamers on YouTube and Twitch: Beaglerush, ChristopherOdd, EnterElysium, TotalBiscuit, Quill18, Northernlion, etc. (Maybe not Northernlion.. he should not count.) A couple days ago, I was surprised to realize that all of those XCOM players are men. Every single one who received the demo is male. Not a single one of them is a girl. Apparently Faraxis did not send out the demo to any girl, not even one. Apparently, very few girls made up the core audienecs of XCOM: EU/EW/LW, which is why Faraxis has not bothered sending a demo to girls.

Personally, I want to see how a girl would play and think differently in XCOM. I am curious to see how a girl's thought process work in terms of strategy/tactics. I think that not sending out a demo/preview to girls - not having a girl do a preview series - was a lost opportunity for 2K and Faraxis. Most girl gamers on YouTube/Twitch have female followers and subscribers. 2K and Faraxis have missed out an opportunity to exposed those females to the XCOM series.

So. Does anyone here know of any preview video of XCOM 2 that is hosted by a girl?

No, and I can't honestly say I've ever seen any female youtuber/twitch streamer play XCom either. That could be a possiblity of why they never gave one to a female.
Of course I was surprised to see Ohmwrecker playing it though I've never seen him play Xcom before.

Where did you get that idea from? They sent it to the most popular streamers who cover Xcom, simple as that. Also how do you know they didn't send to a 'girl' but she chose not to use it?

You are also ignoring all the pre-code sent to others such as gaming sites.

A company's job is to maximise exposure irrespective.

I dunno about that but I applaud the courage of female video game streamers. The abuse they must get just for being women would be more than I could handle personally.
But yeah I mean girls MUST play XCOM coz I will be.
