Will the Alienware Keyboard change colors again?
In the other XCOM's the alienware tactx keyboard would change colors for each turn. Blue for good guys, red for aliens. Will it happen again this time and could we modify the colors? Thanks

Are there Alienware keyboards? Or do you mean a laptop?

There are Logitech keyboards, among others IIRC, that have software-controlled colour changes on a backlight. Not sure where Alienware comes into it.

Now that the box art of XCOM 2 is pretty much the same as alienware logo they just HAVE TO do something special, lol.
Sure hope so, at least.

Yeah, it was neat. When the game started, the lights would turn yellow. Then in tactical it alternated between blue and red.

Very possible, I have seen it with other games

No it does not change colors this time around. Been playing on my Alienware 15r2 and the keyboard does not sync with moves. Sorry.

Reviving an old thread for those like myself. Still not added for those with Alenware laptops or color changing keyboards. It was a really neat feature. Does anyone know of a way to do it manually since the programmers didn't go the extra mile this time?

Alienware TactX Gaming Keyboard; its similar to the Logitech ones with the lighting effects. It was one of Dells early additions to revamping the Alienware brand (after they bought it)

You can still find them sold stand alone; but the alieneware desktops have now switched to roccat keyboards "with alien FX"

Not sure which one he meant

Think he meant the tactx, that was my keyboard for all my XCOM:EU runs and that had cool context-sensitive light displays.

FWIW I think my current Razer Chroma does it too.
